Don't let Congress Leave the Trans Community Behind!

Congress has been considering a bill that would protect people from being fired based on sexual orientation or gender identity - it's called the Employment Nondiscrimination Act - ENDA. Then, last week, gender identity was stripped out of the bill, leaving our transgender brothers and sisters behind in the fight for equality.

Our community has risen up in solidary AGAINST this exclusionary tactic. 150 groups, including OutFront Minnesota, Faith Family Fairness Alliance and HRC sent a letter to congressional leaders telling them to put gender identity back into the bill.

Fortunately, a vote that had been scheduled for Tuesday on the non-inclusive bill was postponed for two weeks after congressional leaders heard our cry loud and clear.

But we're not out of the woods yet. Your congressional representatives must hear from you that you support only a trans-inclusive ENDA bill that represents ALL of our community!

Tell them "As your constituent, I ask that you vote only for an inclusive ENDA bill. Anything less would be unjust, and not what would serve our community."
